How values work
Updated October 24, 2026
Player and pick values on Hot Read FF come from FantasyCalc. Sleeper supplies the league.
FantasyCalc values
FantasyCalc publishes trade values for fantasy football players and draft picks. Hot Read FF reads those public values and shows them next to your Sleeper roster. FantasyCalc gets the credit for the prices. We are not affiliated with FantasyCalc.
Which board
Redraft leagues use the FantasyCalc redraft board. Dynasty leagues use the FantasyCalc dynasty board for players and for rookie pick prices. Keeper leagues use the dynasty board for players. Guillotine leagues use the redraft board. Keeper advice can also read the redraft price of a player when it recommends who to keep.
Keeper and redraft draft picks are priced from the redraft board. A pick is worth about what the player usually drafted at that slot is worth, on the same scale as the players. Dynasty pick prices stay on the FantasyCalc dynasty pick list.
The request includes your league size and the number of quarterback slots, including superflex spots. If the league awards a full point per reception, the request says so. If it awards half a point, the request says that. Otherwise it says receptions do not score. The request does not include your name.
Refresh
FantasyCalc values sit in a shared cache and refresh at most once every 3 hours. A report you open soon after another league with the same settings may show the same prices until that window ends.
Sleeper data
When you paste a league ID, Hot Read FF requests that league from the public Sleeper API. We read the league, rosters, managers, drafts, and trades so we can line those players up with FantasyCalc values.
We do not ask for your Sleeper password. We do not store your league in a database. The league ID can appear in the page address so you can share a link.
